Based in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, Mia Moran is a film student currently studying at California State University of Northridge. She is working towards a Bachelor’s degree in film production with an emphasis in cinematography. Her main focus is to create compelling images through a variety of different creative mediums. Mia has experience in shooting experimental films, music videos, creative documentaries and more. Mia has award winning films and has had her 10-minute short film screened at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2018 in the Arlington Theatre. Mia also has experience in shooting both analog and digital film photography. This includes 35mm and 120mm. She also has experience in shooting with super 8mm, as well as 16mm for motion picture cinema cameras. Mia draws inspiration to tell her own unique stories in captivating ways from artists such as Sofia Coppola, Alma Har’el, Xavier Dolan, her family, her friends and her personal experiences.
